Painting beyond the Infite Sublime
Christine Keruth (M.A.) studied painting at the renowned Kunsthochschule Berlin Weissensee. In addition to numerous national and international solo exhibitions, her work is represented worldwide in public and private collections. Keruth’s work deals with philosophical poetical and historical topics. Her new series seem to correspond with a Romantic tradition of the irrational and the awesome as well as with a vocabulary of boundless energies and limitless spaces. Christine Keruth’s definition of a „terra incognita“ explore a realm of sublimity so unafraid that it defies comparison with even the most adventurous explorations into sublime nature between Western Contemporary and Chinese Literati visual language.
